Purple Elephant in the Fridge Monday, 6 August, 2007

Over the weekend, I met the cutest little dog who’s a bit afraid of heights. (Oops she’s quite high up in this photo, isn’t she? Anyway I’m in love with her.) Then, I put a purple elephant in the fridge (I’m sorry again my dearest Graceful Birch… but I’ll bet your L. enjoyed the cold for a change), was thrown in the pool for the first time in my life, met old friends, made new friends who know old friends present and absent, was crammed in a cab with four funny live-in-the-East boys (and a very nice uncle who allowed us all to get in) in the middle of the night, and then slept more than half of Sunday away.
Not a bad weekend at all.
Also went for one of my lovely long runs, watched Calendar Girls (which I love!) and continued reading my first Murukami Haruki novel (Kafka on the Shore).
School’s starting in about a week. Hmmm.
You know I’ve been saying I’m not going to blog anymore, but what am I doing right now? And at work too. Tsk\: Okayfeelingbadbyebyebacktowork.

I can’t believe you carried a dog that’s so unsinyee like. (Btw it’s Haruki Murakami not Murakami Haruki and that book is so totally amazing. I also have Dance dance dance if you want (: )
