Come tomorrow, I'll be able to believe whole-heartedly that the slate has indeed been wiped clean. It's time to slough off the last remnants of the old so that I may embrace the new with reckless abandon.
You don't see why it is that I want to meet you before I leave. I suppose I can't expect you to, but won't you appreciate the necessity? A closing almost a year in the making. It's a selfish demand, like most demands are. I have convinced myself that what you make of it is of no consequence, and that is why I stand my ground this firmly.
